Hello,
So the Christian Herter lot on the Charles is closed again today (11/15/18) with no notice given. Does anyone know why and if it will be closed again tomorrow (Friday?) There was also no notice given for the two days it was closed for the Head of the Charles. Annoying.Thanks.
Sorry for the inconvenience. We are often not notified ahead of time by the Department of Conservation and Recreation about closures either. In this case, the lot at Christian Herter Park will be closed from November 15th until Sunday the 18th while DCR constructs a temporary salt storage structure for the winter.
We don’t believe the structure will affect the official Park&Pedal spaces when completed but if so, other spaces in the lot can be used for all day parking as usual.
